Well Done Millie

We would like to recognise Millie Peaty for an outstanding achievement representing Southern England at a major tetrathlon competition in Yorkshire recently. Competing against some of the strongest athletes from across the UK and Ireland, she delivered excellent performances across all four phases of the event, including a personal best in shooting and matching her previous best in both the run and swim despite challenging and demanding conditions. She also showed real determination and composure throughout a highly technical cross-country ride. Millie finished an impressive 17th out of 52 competitors and helped her team secure 6th place overall. This is a fantastic accomplishment and a reflection of her hard work, resilience, and commitment.

Zachary was selected to represent the New Forest area in the Hampshire Schools Cross Country Championships as an Under 12 and ran against other successful Year 5/6 competitors in Basingstoke on Wednesday. Zach came 3rd! Plus, he also competed in the Hampshire Cross Country Championships in January for his athletics club and came 4th.

Well done Zachary. What a fantastic achievement!

Holly and her pony Polly competed for Western Downland at a schools eventers challenge competition in November and came 4th which very excitingly for Holly means that they have now qualified for the Championships which take place at Hickstead in May 2025.
